First, check whether the file actually downloaded
A ready result means that a file is available. You still need to select Download video, Download audio or the photo download button. When SaveKaro opens a provider’s file, the browser may begin saving it or show a media player first.
Use the browser’s Downloads list to check for a completed file. A queued or converting status in SaveKaro means preparation is still happening; there is no completed file to find on your device yet.
On Android with Chrome
Open Chrome’s menu and choose Downloads to see the file’s status. You can also look in the device’s Files app. The exact storage location depends on your device and download settings.
- Wait for the download to finish in Chrome.
- Open Downloads and look for the most recent media file.
- Open the file, or use your device’s file manager to move it to a folder you prefer.
On iPhone or iPad with Safari
Tap Safari’s Downloads button to check a recent download. You can also open Files, choose Browse, then look in Downloads under iCloud Drive or the location selected in your Safari settings.
A browser download may be in Files rather than Photos. Finding the file in Photos is a separate step, depending on the file format and the sharing options available on your device.
On a computer
Open your browser’s Downloads panel or Downloads menu. Look at the filename, completion status and destination folder. If you chose a custom save location, use that folder instead of assuming the file is in the system Downloads folder.
Firefox keeps download information in its Downloads panel and Library; its settings control the destination folder. Other browsers also provide a download history where you can locate a completed file.
“Save link” does not save the video file
Save link keeps the source URL and title in this browser’s saved collection. It is useful for returning to the post later, but it does not make an offline copy and does not sync to an account. Clearing this website’s browser data can remove the collection.
To keep an offline file, complete the download and confirm it in your browser’s Downloads list. A source post can later be deleted or become inaccessible, even if its link is saved.
If the file is still missing
Check whether the browser download failed or is still in progress. If SaveKaro shows Open original, the source may not allow saving through the page; open the source and use its player’s download option when one is provided.
If a provider link has expired, return to the public post link and prepare a fresh result. Do not rename a partial download to make it look complete.
