What happens to your link

When you submit a link, saveकरो sends it to its server and requests the public source page to locate media. The source website receives that lookup. Public DNS lookups use Google’s DNS service. Media previews and downloads connect your browser directly to the source.

Social media processing

Links from the social platforms listed on the homepage are sent to WebDownloader (save.brianrianrehan.com), an external public download service. It processes the link and temporarily stores the prepared file. Its documentation states that files are automatically removed after its configured retention period; we do not control that period. Your browser connects to that provider for previews and downloads, which reveals your IP address to it. No social account passwords or cookies are sent.

No media library on saveकरो servers

The application does not keep a personal link history on its servers or store downloaded media. When you press Save link, the title and source URL are saved in localStorage on this browser, up to thirty links. They stay until you remove them, clear the collection, or clear browser storage. This collection is not synced to an account. It may reuse public video details in temporary server and edge caches for up to ten minutes without attaching visitor identifiers. Prepared-file references are not reused by the application. YouTube thumbnails load from YouTube, which receives the normal image request. Downloaded files remain on your device. Our hosting provider may retain ordinary request and security logs; this is separate from an application download history.

Your accounts

saveकरो does not request social media passwords, session cookies or private-account access. Your light or dark theme choice is also saved in this browser. Clipboard access is requested only when you press Paste. You can paste manually instead.

Other services

Fonts are hosted with this website, with system-font fallbacks. Your browser does not contact an external font service. Source websites apply their own privacy policies. No advertising or analytics scripts have been added to this version.
